I am just now finding out the passing of Shirley. I had the pleasure of getting to know Shirley while working at Emeritus where she resided. She was always making someone laugh or smile. Shirley had a radiant smile and an even more radiant personality. If you didn't know Shirley and her personality, you would have thought that maybe she was a little bit crazy. Shirley loved to tell jokes and joke around with the rest of the staff at Emeritus. I let Emeritus back in December of 2010, and often thought of Shirley and now, I wish I had visited her more often. I'm truly going to miss Shirley, but the memories that we shared in the year and a half I was there at Emeritus, will always be a part of me. Shirley will always have a place in my heart. I love you and Rest in Peace Shirley.
