William Michael Irwin, 94, of Merritt Island, FL passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2016. Born in New York City, NY, Mr. Irwin moved from Latham, New York in 1975 to Merritt Island. He served in the United States Army during WWII.
He owned and operated a TV repair shop in NY and could fix anything. He enjoyed tinkering with projects. Mr. Irwin was an avid bowler his entire life. He also enjoyed fishing, shrimping, and clamming. He attended Divine Mercy Catholic Church for many years.
He is survived by his loving wife of 73 years, Helen T. Irwin; children: Carole, Thomas, and William; 5 grandchildren: Megan, Carrie, Tyson, Emily, and Gabriella; and 3 great-grandchildren.
