was born in Illinois to Walt and Bernice Harris on June 8, 1944. He spent his career working
with kids as a teacher and principal. But he always considered his main job to be a great
father and husband. In retirement he spent his days playing golf, singing in the choir, and
working with the Shriners. He also enjoyed fishing in Pine Top, visiting the grandkids, and
watching football.
Alan is survived by his wife Loie Harris; twin daughters Terri and Traci and their husbands
David and Matt; three granddaughters Mandi, Sydney, Kea; and Abby the dog:)
