Anita Tuscano Hendricks

Anita Hendricks, of Phoenix, Arizona went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 26, 2011 at Christian Care Retirement Center. Anita was independent and active even on her last day. She had high blood pressure, but did not suffer outward physical symptoms. She died peacefully in her sleep. Anita was born in Irwindale, California on July 26, 1930 to Antonio and Ruth Toscano. She was preceded in death by husband, Ralph Hendricks. She is survived by her stepson, Darrell Hendricks and his wife Sharon (Tilton, IL); daughter Elaine Reynolds, husband John and grandson Drew (Phoenix, AZ); daughter Valerie Parmley and husband Steve (Bismarck, IL), grandson Anthony Hendricks, great-grandaughter Xander (Danville, IL); granddaughter Crystal Parmley, great-grandchildren Alexis and Peyton (Danville, IL); granddaughter April Rhinehart and great-grandchildren Hayden, Dylan and Leah (Oakwood, IL); and son Matthew Hendricks and his fiancé Roanne Edick and her children Courtney and Matthew (Chandler, AZ). She is also survived by brothers Tony and Henry Toscano (Irwindale, CA); sister Eloisa Toscano (Lancaster, CA), brother-in-law Eddie Enriquez (Hacienda Heights, CA), Caroline Quiroz (Rowland Heights, CA), and Richard Toscano and Sally Sepulveda (Baldwin Park, CA). A viewing will be held at Melcher Mortuary Chapel of the Roses in Mesa, AZ on Thursday, March 3rd from 6:30pm till 8pm. The funeral service will be held Friday, March 4th at 11am at Calvary Chapel North Phoenix. Melcher Mortuary Chapel of the Roses handled arrangements. 480-964-4537
