Ann Marie Howard

Ann was born in Pennsylvania and was the youngest of three children. She was the last surviving family member of Mary Solak and Joseph Krafchak.

Ann is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Donn Howard, and her two children, Lynn and Ken Barry. Ken and his wife Michele blessed her with two grandchildren Nicole and Steven Barry. She has one great-grandchild, Ryker, as well as many nieces and nephews who all held a special place in her heart.

After moving to Arizona from Michigan with her family and raising two children, Ann retired from AAA as an Emergency Roadside Service Dispatcher, where she met Donn. She then went on to hold various positions in the Gilbert Unified School District. Finally retiring from the transportation department as a bus monitor. She loved the children and spoke of them often in her later years.

Ann loved animals and anyone could tell by her relationship with her beloved dog, Toby. To honor her love of animals, donations in Ann’s name can be made to the Arizona Animal Welfare League & SPCA.

Ann was loved by many and will be missed by her entire family in addition to the many who were blessed to know her.

A Celebration of Life for Ann will be held Monday, November 14, 2022 at 2:00pm at Lakeshore Mortuary, 1815 South Dobson Road. Please join the family following the service for a reception at Floridino’s, Ann’s favorite restaurant, 590 N Alma School Rd #35, Chandler, AZ 85224.
