Barbara Christine Hurley

Barbara is survived by her husband, David W. Hurley; daughter Gina Rae Petty; grandson Tyler; brother Dan Fackler in Alaska; sister Ann Guilland in Redmond, Washington, a niece Jennifer Guilland in Phoenix and a granddaughter Jordyn Hurley in Mesa, Arizona.

Barbara was born on July 5, 1950 in Anchorage, Alaska to Paul and Ann Fackler. She married David Hurley on June 20, 1979. After moving to Woodland Hills, California, Barb began working for The Warner Group as an executive assistant to the company owner. Over time, Barbara and David started and grew a number of businesses in California, Washington and Arizona.

Barbara was an accomplished personnel manager, business administrator and business accountant. She was a talented individual who loved people and who was passionate about providing opportunities to others. Barbara was an active and dedicated member of the Condo Association and often volunteered as an administrator for the community library and in welcoming new residents to the neighborhood.

A funeral is scheduled for June 15, 2022 at the Mariposa Gardens Chapel, Mesa, Arizona with a reception to follow at the Sunland Village East Mesa Verde room. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Barbara’s life. Please send condolences to [email protected].
