My mom Rosalie, was Betty's friend for over 54 years, they would talk for hours and always shared laughter. While Betty was not our aunt by blood, my sister, brother and myself called her Aunt Betty because she was like a member of our family. Betty genuinely cared about others and it showed in her phone calls and cards. We all will miss her, but most especially my mom, Rosalie Ferry.

Even though she was so far away from us in Apollo we never felt the distance between us because of the phone calls she always made and cards she would faithfully send. We will truely miss her voice and her conversations and the messages in her cards, they were the best. You will never be forgotten Aunt Betty. Look down on us and keep us safe. Aunt Betty was one of a kind, I have so many memories, A few are, When the whole family would come home to PA. for a visit. and the summer I spent in Michigan, We had so much fun. The last time she was home she got to spend time with my daughter Elissa and she will never forget that and all the cards and letters she sent. I will miss the phone calls so with this as we always said at the end of our phon e calls I LOVE YOU ALWAYS<3

I came into the Williams family later than most and she welcomed me with open arms.  When we were together, she made me feel like I had known her forever.  I will always cherish the memories I have of her; she was a very special lady.

Aunt Betty was a very caring and giving person.  I remember when she and Uncle Dave would drive from Michigan for their annual visit to Apollo, and they always had gifts tucked away for my brother, my sister and me.  She never missed a birthday or holiday with a card not only for me, but also for Erin and the girls.  I am so happy that Erin and I got to spend time with her this past winter while we were in Arizona; having dinner, talking about old times and looking over photos.  She will always have a special place in my heart.

My sister was right about her timely card sending. Betty was always so very nice to me with always a kind word. She will be missed greatly.

I miss my sister, Betty, so very much.  We spent so much time talking on the phone.  Thru out our life time, we have been phone talkers.  When out children were little and we lived in Detroit - one on the East side and one on the West side - we had our morning coffee together (via telephone) with interruptions of "just a minute have to get this kid down from the top of the counter".  Then we moved to India and we used a tape recorder to keep in touch.  When Betty and Dave retired to Arizona, we were able to do a lot of things together.  One of my fondest memory is our slot machine gambling.  we would take our rolls of nickets and use the same machine so that we could talk and take turns pulling that handle - later push the button.  We would take a tour bus and we would talk and giggle like kids - so much so, we were told to be quiet.  We had so much fun.  We talked and confided about everything, could get angry at each other but always forgave, and we laughed together.  I know that the Lord held her hand on this last journey and she is happy being with Dave, our parents, sister Audrey, brother Clifford, and the many relatives and friends.  My tears will dry, but I still will think of her and miss her until we meet again in the hereafter.  Loving sister Martha Curlett

Aunt Betty never forgot to send a Birthday or Anniversary card. It was always the perfect card.  My favorite time spent with her was going out to lunch. We would talk and laugh about everything going on in the world. I will miss her and our great conversations.
