It is with deep love and gentle sorrow that we share the passing of Boni, a woman whose life was a beautiful canvas of creativity, resilience, and unconditional love. Boni passed peacefully, surrounded by the warm legacy of the family she cherished and the memories she helped create.
Boni’s journey in life was filled with passion and purpose. She built a career as a dedicated property manager and an enterprising shop owner, bringing a sense of care and personal connection to everything she did. Beyond her professional accomplishments, she was a gifted artist whose creativity touched all who knew her—whether through her work, her eye for beauty, or the vibrant way she approached life.
Her path took her from the heart of Michigan to the islands of Hawaii and finally to the desert warmth of Arizona. In each place, she carried with her a spirit of grace, strength, and deep affection for those around her. Her home was always filled with laughter, love, and a welcoming light that drew people in.
Boni is survived by the father of her children, Carson Janes, who shared in many of life’s chapters with her. She leaves behind her beloved children: Judy Olen, Jill MacLennan, and Jeff Janes, along with her stepdaughters, Darlene and Denise. Her legacy lives on through her cherished grandchildren—Tawnya, Byron, Tom, Justin, Megan, Marla, Serenity, and Tyler—each a reflection of her love and guidance. Boni was also blessed with great-grandchildren: Odin, Trevor, and Lauren, who brought her endless joy and pride.
To know Boni was to be embraced by warmth, creativity, and an unshakable love for family. She lived her life with grace, touched the hearts of many, and left the world a more beautiful place simply by being in it.
She will be missed deeply and remembered always.
“Wherever a beautiful soul has been, there is a trail of beautiful memories.”
