Cammy Seed

Cammy graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Arizona. She married John Seed on October 22, 1993. Cammy loved animals and was a member of the Humane Society. She always attracted animals while spending time out in her garden. Doves and finches would come right up to her lawn chair.

Cammy will be remembered by her family and friends as a gentle, courageous woman who had a great sense of humor. She made her home beautiful inside and out; a good friend said her home always felt happy and filled with love. Along with gardening and planting flowers, Cammy enjoyed reading and working on puzzles.

Cammy is survived by her husband of 19 years, John Seed; father, Robert Maassen; mother, Selma Maassen; brothers, John Maassen (Linda) and Peter Maassen; nieces, Genevieve Maassen and Lynn Schuler (Curtis); and sister in law, Mary Maassen. She is also survived by her loving cat, Bambi. Cammy is preceded in death by her sister, Daphne and her favorite pets, cats, Bunny, Goose, and Star; and dog, Max.

A funeral service for Cammy will be held on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at 4:00pm at Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park and Funeral Care, 400 South Power Road, Mesa, Arizona 85206. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Cammy’s name to the Arizona Humane Society, www.azhumane.org.
