Rev. Carl Jackson, age 91, went home to be with his Lord on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family and the peace of his faith. He is survived by his devoted wife of many decades, Anna Rowell Jackson; his four children, Marc Gregory Jackson, Scott Douglas Jackson, Carla Ann Jackson Price, and Christin Joy Jackson; thirteen grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Grace and Loren Jackson, and his brother, Leon.
Carl’s ministry spanned decades and denominations, reflecting his deep love for the Body of Christ. He pastored churches in 4 states. His calling extended beyond the pulpit into the airwaves and as he was part of many Christian radio stations.
Carl’s heart for service was evident in his community outreach. He and Anna chaired prayer efforts for the Festival of Hope, a citywide initiative providing food, medical care, and personal services to Tucson residents. He also participated in holiday food drives and supported blood donations and job fairs.
Rev. Carl Jackson will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His voice may be silent, but his message continues in the lives he touched, the ministries he built, and the family he loved. Above all, he loved his Savior, Jesus Christ.
