Cathleen Veronica Burns born December 30, 1940 in Brooklyn, New York passed away September 28, 2015 in Mesa, Arizona, with her Son Shawn and her dear friend Shelly at her side. She was 74 years old, and passed away due to a brief and sudden illness. She was a Registered Nurse, Wife, Mother and wonderful friend. She lived a great life with travels all over the world. She was well loved and a kind, generous woman who touched all she met. She was very caring and gave of herself in everything she did. She was a lover of Opera, music, art and shoes. She was preceded in death by her husband Dr. Henry Burns and is survived by her only son, Shawn as well as dear friends, Shelly and Beth Stewart. Also, she is survived by her brother Jackie Burke and his wife Terry as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Please celebrate her life with us October 9, 2015 at 2pm for visitation and her service at 3pm at Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park and Funeral Care, 400 S. Power Road, Mesa, AZ 85206.
