Chad came into this world at Long Beach Memorial Hospital. Chad was a precious baby boy. As he grew he was blessed with the most engaging smile. I feel in love with him the moment I first saw him. Chad grew cuter by the day. He had his quick smile and loved being played with such as peekaboo. I would set him on my leg hold him tight and play "Ride a cock horse to branbery cross". This would having him peal with laughter. As Chad grew so did his charm. He was a very handsome boy. I was very sad and missed Susan, Debra and Chad when they moved to Las Vegas to be close to Susan's mom. I remember visiting Susan and the kids when Chad was about
5.  Debi, Chad and I rose very early one morning and went to watch the sun rise. I have to say we were all very
impressed with the sunrise in Las Vegas. On that same trip Debi, Chad and I were in the back yard looking at the multitude of stars in the heavens. I told the kids that we would always be together when we looked up to heaven and saw the same stars and that it didn't matter where they were or where I was the stars would always bind us together.
When Susan and the kids came to Lakewood to visit me Susan Chad and I went out to the field next to my house
and we taught Chad to fly a kite. I was able to snap a picture of Susan and Chad with the kite it was so very much fun. 
Time and life passed quickly as it does and we saw less and less of each other but it never diminished the love that I had for Susan and her children. 
Chad had the heart of an eagle and now he soars with the eagles and keeps constant watch of his beloved family especially his mom.  I love you Chad and I always will.  Auntie Carole.

Much respects to the Mother, Father, family, and friends of a man that had the most generous heart of anyone I ever knew. Chad would give the people close to him all he had to give. Never asking for anything more than friendship. He always believed what was his was communal. He believed in all those around him and loved endlessly. Every step he made he would bring all around him up. He would take a bad hand given on his chin. Except it. Own it. Make is crazy joke about it. Like Chad and move forward. I'm grateful to call this man a friend, and a brother. I pray for his peace and all that knew him to have the same. Love you all to the moon and back. The heavens just gained another angel.
