

Daniel Stephen Haider was born in St. Paul Minnesota on April 7th 1943 to Dorothy and Stephen Haider. Dan was preceded in death by his parents and sister Patricia. Dan lived in St. Paul all of his life. He played several sports, but was most known as a great softball player. he worked at 3M for 35 years. Once he retired he spent his winters in Arizona and Summers in Minnesota. Dan really enjoyed the Minnesota sports teams, especially the Vikings, Twins Wild and all Gophers teams as well. He enjoyed golfing with his friends in Arizona and shuffle board at Casa del Campo. he enjoyed his beer with friends an family as well as sharing his stories with everyone. he taught his sons about sports and how to excel at each one that they participated in. Dave and tony are grateful for te many lessons that they learned from their Dad. Dan is survived by his sons: Dave and his wife Rayhssu and Dennis and his wife Carie. He is also survived by his 6 beautiful grandchildren Joe, Billy, A.J., Tonito, Patty and Tommy.
Dan requested that in lieu of flowers please make contributions to the care of his grandson Tonito and for his medical expenses related to Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. contributions should be routed in Tonito's name until a memorial fund can be established.
A Memorial Service Will be held on Tuesday, February 16, 2016, 12:00 noon at Lakeshore Mortuary, 1815 South Dobson Road, Mesa, AZ 85202
