David Edward McLaughlin, 72, passed away on Friday, March 25, 2011 after complications from heart bypass surgery on March 2nd. He is survived by his devoted wife of nearly 50 years, Judith Ann; his son, James P. McLaughlin, and daughter Kathleen P. Blokdijk and husband, James; brothers John McLaughlin and wife Colette; Michael McLaughlin and Richard McLaughlin, his six grandchildren and many extended family members and friends. Mr. McLaughlin was preceded in death by his father, John and mother Phyllis. He was born and raised in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. At the age of 21, he met his future wife, Judith while walking across a busy intersection in Detroit, Michigan. They were married one year later. He adored his wife and children and touched so many lives. He had an amazing sense of humor and will truly be missed. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. at All Saints Roman Catholic Church, Mesa, Arizona. Interment will follow at a later date.
