

Deanna Kay Wilcoxon, 80, born March 20, 1939 in Centerville, Indiana, to Paul and Ruth [Wise] Curts, passed away October 3, 2019 in Mesa, AZ. Deanna met her true love, John Wilcoxon at Luke Air Force Base in Arizona where they were later married on December 17, 1971. She enjoyed gambling, playing bingo, and, being an animal lover, she absolutely loved being around her dog, Lily. She also loved to travel and used to say that she was “a gypsy at heart”. Deanna was a devoted mother and grandmother who always had a mother’s pride about her kids. In her final days, her grandchildren were the most important and she loved the time she had to spend with them. Deanna was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 47 years, John Wilcoxon on December 16, 2017; he was her whole world.
She is survived by her sons, Randy ( Katie ), Rick ( Pam ) Clark; her daughter, Jacqueline Wilcoxon, her sons, Steve ( Laurie ) Clark, Donald ( Tori ), John ( Michelle ) Wilcoxon; grandchildren, Bo, Derick Clark, Karen “ Pix “ Maese, Charleane Clark, Shauna Serrano, Brandy Galipo Wilcoxon, Matt and Dane Clark, Sara, and Cody, Cameron and Matthew Wilcoxon. Siblings; Judy ( Richard ) Runyon, Donnie Ray ( Bobbie ) Curts and David ( Debbie ) Curts; as well as numerous great grandchildren and other extended family members.
