Donald James Gallagher passed away on May 2, 2011, in Mesa, Arizona. Born in Butler, Pennsylvania , to Clarence and Clara Gallagher, Donald arrived on January 5, 1921. Donald was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Donald served in and retired from the United States Army as a Major. He was active in WWII, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. A decorated officer, Donald served in the O.S.S., and was the first Civil Defense Director in the Kenai Peninsula. He is survived by his children, Kathryn Selanoff, and Michael Gallagher, grandchildren, Paul Panamarioff, Ernest Gallagher, Jared Selanoff, and James Gallagher, and great grandchildren, Kathryn Gallagher, Jaxon Gallagher, Bodhi Panamarioff, and Katya Selanoff.
