Donald Patella Sr.

Donald Patella Sr, 78, of Mesa, Arizona, born February 28, 1943, passed away September 18, 2021 in Mesa, Arizona. Don grew up in Paterson, New Jersey where he attended East Paterson High School along with many professional and leadership courses at the esteemed Dale Carnegie institute.

On May 21st, 1966, he married the love of his life, Anna Fedele and together they had 3 children. Don began his career in the Supermarket Business in New Jersey, which led him to moving the family to the Southwest in 1974. Don loved what he did and eventually finished his distinguished career in the same business he started.

Donald was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to all who knew him. He had amazing sense of humor, loved all sports including NFL Football (Go Cowboys), playing Golf, Texas Hold ‘em, riding his bike alongside his wife and of course spending time with his family and friends. Don also enjoyed traveling and went on several cruises to many places including one of his favorites in the Caribbean. His most recent trip was to Lake Tahoe where he loved touring the lake on a charter boat. Donald is survived by his beloved wife, Anna Patella; Children, Lisa Ann Patella, Donald Patella Jr and Debra Patella; his Granddaughter Josie Patella Jones, as well as many friends who were all near and dear to his heart. He will be dearly missed by everyone who knew him.
