Doug Charles, 45, of Apache Junction, AZ passed away suddenly on March 8, 2011. Doug was born in Glendive, MT on December 26, 1965 to John and Janet Charles. He attended Glendive public schools, graduating from Dawson County High School in 1984. He joined the United States Army serving two years before being honorably discharged in 1989. He was united in marriage to Debra Zinda on June 6, 1987. He currently was working at Temtco Steel in Apache Junction. He is survived by his wife Debra, daughters Desiree and Danielle of Apache Junction, Arizona, his mother and step-father Jerry and Janet Sims of Sun Lakes, Arizona, his brother Alan of Johnson City, Iowa, and his sister Jodi of Washington, D.C. He was preceded in death by his infant son Jason Robert, his father John and his brother Jason. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 12 at Melcher Mortuary Mission Chapel in Mesa. Cremation will follow.
