Eder Figueras Proenza

Eder Figueras Proenza, passed away January 17th, 2024. He was born in Guantanamo, Cuba on September 24, 1981. Growing up in Cuba, he made various personal/academic achievements and accomplishments including working at the radio station in Guantanamo, Cuba, and getting accepted into Art University which had a highly competitive acceptance rate. He attended Medical School at the University of Medical Sciences in Cuba for four years achieving top student status. While attending medical school he was accepted to the Superior Institution of Art (ISA) in Habana, Cuba. However, due to the political climate and the communist system, he had no choice but to immigrant to the United States in 2005. Upon his arrival, he immersed himself in learning English and attending various schools. He graduated from Grand Canyon University as a Nurse and was currently four (4) credits away from achieving a master degree in Nursing. He worked in various companies doing research, the last company he worked for was Celerion Co, in Tempe, AZ. Where he was greatly appreciated for his knowledge and dedication to his position. He had a passion for acting which can be seen through his Facebook. YouTube, and various other medias.

He is survived by his loving parents, Caridad Proenza, and Eder Figueras, his sisters, Eliagne Figueras, Elizabeth Figueras, niece Adriana, nephews Yader, Yasser, grandnieces and grandnephews, his aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends, that love him dearly.
