

Eddie was born in Waynesburg Pa and moved to Connecticut as a small child. Eddie enlisted in the Navy at age 18 and served December 14.1965 to October 1.1969, He was a Vietnam Vet. He moved to Las Vegas in 1974 where he worked as a dealer before moving to Phoenix in 1981. He moved to Mesa in 2015 when he purchased our new home, but he always missed the old neighborhood in Phoenix.
He worked in sheet metal before going to work for ADOT as a concrete inspector where he retired in 2004 due to illness. He loved his motorcycles. He loved music, art & photography. He was looking forward to going to Alaska this year and Portugal in about 2 years.
Eddie is survived by his beloved wife Patricia Smith, his step-children; Jeffrey Smith, Shelly Reese, Jeanne Martin, Jim Swift, and John Swift, his siblings Diane Page, Daniel Marshock and Joseph Marshock. 7 nieces and 4 nephews, Eddie didn’t have children of his own but was always the favorite Uncle! He had 2 dogs which he considered his kids; Switchblade,7 years old, long-haired dachshund. He was Daddy’s boy. Bella, 5 years old, ridgeback - a stray that was only staying a day or until we found her a home, we didn't try to find her a home. She was Daddy’s girl. As well as many wonderful friends.
Eddie is proceeded in death by his parents, Edward and Gertrude Marshock and brother Richard Marshock.
A celebration of life for Edward will be held Sunday, February 6, 2022 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm at Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park and Funeral Care, 400 S. Power Rd. Mesa, Arizona 85206
