Eileen Kay Horton

On July 15,2023 we said goodbye to a special lady, Eileen Kay Horton of Mesa, Az, at age 84. Her last few months were a struggle with cancer but her life was full and accomplished. She was born in Lapeer, MI on December 8th, 1938 to George and Winnona (Wilma) Bates. Eileen married Bob (Robert) Horton in Elba, MI, December 18, 1954. They had 44 years together before his passing in 1999. Together they raised three daughters, Denise, Connie and Michele. In 1962 Bob and Eileen took their three daughters and moved to Arizona where she lived until her passing. Eileen worked at Intel for many years until she retired in 1999. She enjoyed shopping and going to the casino. Eileen is survived by her daughters, Denise Marshall (Kerry), Connie Armstrong (Scott), Mickey's husband Dan Howell and her brother Arlen Bates (Sara). Eileen had six grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren with one on the way. There are too many nieces and nephews to count but she was very much loved and a part of all of their lives. Eileen was greeted in haven by her husband, parents,daughter Michele, granddaughter Julie and great grandson Billy. Eileen was cremated and her ashes placed with her husband's at Mariposa Gardens, Mesa, Az
