Eve was the love of my life and I will never be able to replace her nor will I want to. She always put others before herself. One of her oldest and dearest friends wrote a letter to me that summed it up. She said she was down with the flu, her husband was away on temporary duty as we were military families, and she hardly knew Eve at the time. Her son had a medical appointment he had to make and Eve took off work to ensure he made his appointment. Then, she went home and prepared a meal for the family. So many people have reached out to me over the past 10 days to express their affection for her and it was truly amazing.

Eve was a very special lady.  She had a gift for making friends.  Who could resist her kind, generous and loving spirit?  I will truly miss her.  Until we meet again Eve...

I remember great memories of Evah from our childhood in Grove City. The Finley family was close and we loved each other.

Gramdma i will always miss you. You were the one person i was able to tell anything, and everything to. You knew my ends and outs, and always gave me words of encouragement when i was down, never judge Me and always had words of wisdom to give me, and most of all love.

She was a great grandmother and mother in law, compassionate, caring, and wanting to assure that everyone was on the right path.  We will miss her greatly

I will always remember Eve as being my "other mother". She was my best friend's mother and she treated me like one of her own daughters.  I'm feeling the loss as much as I felt my own mother's passing. She was a sweet woman with a great sense of humor, and my heart goes out to all the family.

My heartfelt sympathy goes out to my brother Robert, their children, and family near and far. A very true quote is, death leaves a heartache that no one can heal, love leaves a memory that no one can steal.  I know how hard this loss is for all who loved her. I loved Evah like she was my own sister. If good people are given angel wings then she is up there looking down on us.  She will always be in our hearts and thoughts.-- I am so sad to lose my sweet, thoughtful, caring sister-in-law. She was such an awesome person and she showed love in so many ways. She showed her love to Robert, their children, family and friends, with so many little things she did, that meant so much! She had a great sense of humor and had such a sweet nurturing way about her. I am the worst about not staying in touch with people but without fail I would always receive thoughtful greeting cards and an occasional gift from her. Even if I didn't stay in touch as I should have, those thoughtful gestures were always special to me. I saved every card she sent to me over the years. I always enjoyed our time and conversations we had together.  Her earthly presence will be missed. Enjoy your wings Evah, you earned them.

Eve you were apart of our life. I love you dearly . You ment the world to me There is a hole in my heart.  I will remember to feel it with beautiful memory of  you. Your warm smile and  love for family will live on. I love you and  miss you my special sister in law

Grandma, I miss you and will forever love you. I will most of all miss how you always make everyone smile and provide us with an unforgettable sense of humor.
