

Frances M. Morrison of Mesa, AZ passed away peacefully on Sat. Oct 12 at Ryan House Hospice of the Valley in Phoenix, AZ. Fran was born on July 9, 1927, in Ashland, KS. She sometimes rode a horse to her one-room schoolhouse in Kansas. When her parents moved to Linden, NJ for work, she attended Linden High School, where she met the love of her life, Ted. They married on Sept 1, 1945, and lived happily ever after for almost 64 years until Ted’s passing in June 2009. Fran loved golf, and played in Delaware and Orlando after moving from NJ. In June 1984, she and her grandson Ed both shot a hole in one on the same hole within 11 days of each other. After moving to Orlando, she and Ted won a couple of husband & wife golf tournaments. Fran loved to travel; she and Ted took more than ten cruises together. She spent a week in Hilton Head, SC every year, including just two weeks before her passing. Fran was predeceased by her parents Jay and Dorothy Burch, her beloved husband Ted, her loving daughter Linda Fisher, and her brother Jack Burch. She leaves behind her daughter Dotty and husband Rod of Mesa, AZ; her son-in-law Ed Fisher Jr of Easton, PA; her two grandsons who were her pride and joy, Edward Fisher III of Phillipsburg, NJ and Michael Fisher and wife Rebecca of Seattle, WA. She also leaves her sister-in-law Evelyn Marshall of Manasses, VA; two step-granddaughters, Tawnya and Angela; four step-great-grandchildren Chase, Cassie, Sydney, and Connor; and six step-great-great-randchildren, Kjerstine, Kynlee, Emersyn, Cannon, Barrett, and David Julian. She also leaves nieces and nephews from all over the US: Carol Beaman, Tresa West, Keith Burch, Sheri Burch, Patty Elliott, Dawn Quinn, Becky Burch, Troy Marshall, Bill Marshall, Barbara Weinstock, and Doug Morrison. Gravesite services will be held on at noon January 12th following regular church services where her ashes will be joined with Teds at the Grace Covenant Presbyterial Church Memorial Garden.
