Genaro Gardea Silva

Genaro Gardea Silva passed away November 2, 2015 in Mesa, Arizona. He was born September 19, 1939 to Susana Gardea and Gregorio Silva in Mexico. Genaro was a hard worker and a loving family man. He will be dearly missed. Genaro’s passion always lied in his Ford and Chevy trucks, never turning away from an opportunity to fix or ride in an American muscle pick-up. After dedicating over 40 years of experience as a mechanic, Geno looked to spend his retirement years with all his family. He lived life to the fullest and lived everyday with the purpose of making his kids and family proud. He is survived by his daughters; Rita Lopez, Susie Contreras, Alicia Villalon, Linda Ramirez and Sonya Silva. Along with his sons; Brian Gonzales and Henry Silva.

He is also survived by grandchildren, Cathy Silva-Gibson, Rosa Linda Lopez, Isabel Lopez-Escelante, Virginia Lopez-Nikerson, Estevan Henry Varelas, Juan Varelas, Stephanie Varelas, Antony Olivia, Christina Silva, Martin Villalon, Ricky Villalon Christopher Villalon, Destini Villalon-Lopez, Yesenia Ramirez, David Navarro, Rocky Ramirez, Richard Ramirez, Adam Ramirez, Brianna Ramirez, Ezeqiel Ramirez, Mercedes Silva, Elijah Williams, Dominic Williams, Jade Williams, Marquis Rollins, and Natalie Silva.

Great-grand children, Gabriel Gibson, Gabriel Barreras, Oscar Escalante Jr., Hector Escalante, Alexandra Nickerson, Jacob Nickerson, Sofia Nickerson, Christopher Varelas, Orlando Meza Jr., Issac Meza, Ariana Meza, Ivan Villalon, Silas Villalon, Ariel Villalon, Izayah Villalon, Elijah Lopez, and Nathaniel Lopez.

A Graveside service will be held at Queen of Heaven Cemetery 1500 E. Baseline Rd. Mesa, AZ 85204 at a later date.
