As I was sleeping I woke up and saw a Dove pass by me,
And I asked My Lord?
Why did you take our father away?
And he said to us, because he was my child,before he was your father
And so it was time to bring him home.
To be with me and your mother

I know you and your family are going through a difficult time and there don't seem be be enough words to express my feeling for your loss. Just remember we all loved him but Gor loved him to and took him home so that he don't have to suffer ahymore. Just be thankful we'll all meet again someday

I have so many things to see and do.

Be happy that we had  some years together,

But now it’s time I must travel alone,

It is only a little while that we must part,

There is not enough space, nor time, that I have to say thank you in the way that you are deserving of. From childhood, to manhood, you have played such a major roll in my life. I have been blessed to have such a wonderful man as my grandfather. I'm also honored to have had the type of relationship with you to express our love for one another face to face. I'm going to miss having our phone call conversations about sports and family. I'm also going to miss the stories you would tell when we got together. Christmas here at our home will never be the same, but the angels in heaven rejoice in your company. Because you are with Christ, it's never a goodbye, it's merely a ''see ya later!'' I love you grandad. Godspeed!

20 years ago, you became "grandad" to me as well.  I am very grateful for all that you have done for our family and for all the wonderful memories we have with you.  Christmas at our house will never be the same.  Our kids are blessed to have known their great grandad and to have experienced all that they have with you.  I am especially grateful for all that you have deposited into my husbands life.  Because you were there when his father couldn't be, because you disciplined and poured into his life,and showed love and support when he needed it, he is the man he is today.  So thank you for always being present and for always being the example of a father that he needed in his life.  You will be greatly missed here, but I know where you are and it brings me peace to know that we will see you again.  Love you.
