Born December 22, 1979 at St. Joe’s Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona. He was the son of Jim and Christy Mabbutt. He graduated from Westwood High School in 1998.
James married Stephanie on October 8, 2011 in Gilbert, Arizona. Together they lived happily with their beloved dog, Jackson.
James had a lifelong passion for classic cars that became his dream job at Streetside Classics in the summer of 2020, where they admired his dedicated work ethic and persevering attitude.
He was survived by his wife, Stephanie of Mesa, AZ; his parents Jim and Christy Mabbutt also of Mesa; Stephanie's parents, Tom and Kathy Bjerkreim of Mesa; Stephanie's sister, Stacey (Mike) Desembrana of Yorba Linda, CA; his nephews Ryan (Kalynn), Zac and Tad Desembrana of CA.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Arizona Animal Rescue Mission under the James Legacy fund.
