It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Janice (Jane) Hamilton who left us on June 14, 2025, at the age of 82. She was a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her most, offering support, wisdom and love. Along with raising a family, she was a practical nurse. She was led by her faith in God. She was also a dear friend to many; she touched the lives of all that knew her. She was strong-willed, witty, kind and resilient. Some things she enjoyed were laughing, cats & dogs, shopping, gardening, crafts and debating politics. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness and strength.
She was predeceased by her husband, Terry Hamilton and her daughter, Risa Hamilton and leaves behind her children, Colleen Champlin, Denise Schaefer, Beth Hamilton, Brad Hamilton and Brian Hamilton along with 8 grandchildren.
She was born in Iowa, raised in Illinois, started a family in California, ventured out to Texas and finally called Arizona her favorite home for 33 years.
A celebration of life will be held in her honor at Mariposa Gardens Memorial in Mesa on June 25, 2025, at 9am. All those who knew her are invited to join. In lieu of flowers you're welcome to make a donation to the Arizona Humane Society in Jane Hamilton’s memory as she was passionate about the welfare of animals.
Her family and friends will forever miss her and cherish the memories they shared with her.
