To my long time friend. I often think about you and all the great times we had growing up together. All though we didn't spend enough time being around each other as we grew older, I regret that I didn't reach out more to you to catch up on things. Its been awhile since you have passed and I just wanted you to know how much I love you and miss you.  To Pat and Lyle thank you for sharing him with us. My family and I  still talk and laugh about the times we shared and remember about all the good times. I love you all and hope that you know that I will always love you guys.

Some of the best memories of my teens and early twenties include Jason. I'm really very sorry to hear of his passing. I hope and pray he and his close loved ones have peace.

I hadn't seen Jason in 15 years, but I still always considered him a very good friend. Armed with a sharp sense of humor, a voracious appetite for the exploration of music and a great sense of freedom & spirit - he was the kind of friend you wanted around. It makes me real sad to hear of his passing, I was sure we'd cross paths again. Jason, my good friend, rest in peace brother. You will be missed.

He was a wonderful patron to us here at the Maricopa Public Library, and he will be missed.  Thank you for loaning him to us!

I have so many great memories of Jason. He was a great friend throughout my childhood. I remember that he was probably our garage band's #1 fan. He was always quick with a funny comment, and just a real pleasure to be around. I credit Jason with helping me to lose my shyness in 6th grade. I will miss him grealty, and really hold onto every memory I have of the fun times we had together.

Jason helped me become the person I am today. Jason was there as I developed my strongest most valued personality traits I will never forget the influence he had on me in the over 25 years I have known him. Pat, Lyle and Jagger,
God has him now and he is without pain. You have been there for Jason in the most caring and loving way. Loss is so difficult and especially at holiday, so I hope you all know how much you are loved and cared for at this time and always. We will be praying for your hearts to heal and that the sorrow will pass and be filled with comfort of all those that love you and your beautiful son and grandson.

My Jaybird has flown to the heavens. At first I was very sad... but then I thought of all those that have went before him. So many people that he loved very much and I thought about how they would all be there to greet him with open and loving arms. His Grandma Alice, Grandpa Scott, Grandma Beulah, Uncle John, Great Aunt Charlotte and Uncle Floyd, cousins Brian (X2), and so many others. So many that he loved and so many that loved him. He was a favorite to many, including me. 

 Jason was my second and favorite birthday present. We grew up a block apart until he moved to Arizona. He was my best friend as a child and I always enjoyed spending time together. He didn't have a mean bone in his body. I always remember him as a fun loving happy kid whom I could always make laugh. I also remember he was the voice of reason and my moral compass as he would always say... you better not do that, you might get into to trouble. Then we would laugh anyway. I have too many fond memories of Jason to count.

 I began too feel happy again as I sat and thought about all of those fond memories from childhood to his wedding day. I thought to myself, yes it's sad that Jason is gone and I will not see him in this place anymore and the world just feels a slight bit darker without him, but then I realized how truly blessed we all are to have had him for 38 years. He was always a joy to be around, always a kind soul, and I look forward to seeing him again someday. God bless my Englefish, swim on brother and tell the family I love them and miss them all.
