Jeffrey Nathaniel Lamar

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jeffrey Nathaniel Lamar. He made his transition on October 12, 2022 at the age of 48. He passed peacefully at his home in Chandler AZ, surrounded by his close family.

Jeffrey grew up and spent most of his childhood in Orlando,Florida. He was involved in theater and chorus, and began his acting career on such shows as Law and Order Criminal Intent and many Nickelodeon programs. He moved to New York in his 20's to further his acting career. This is where he met his wife Brandi, and they married on May 6, 2012 in Sedona, AZ.

Jeffrey was passionate about life and living each moment to the fullest. He enjoyed writing music, short stories and scripts. He is a published comic book writer, and has lended his writing and singing talents on several albums. Jeffrey has performed in many venues in New York and in Florida, performing both solo and with his former band. He is an animal activist, donating to such organizations at Farm Sanctuary and contributing t-shirt designs and merchandise in coordination with Sea Shepard Conservation Society. He also enjoyed expressing himself through painting and sharing his gift with others. He was most recently employed with Carvana, and a member of the creative marketing team. His greatest contribution and greatest love, is his 6 year old daughter Livia. He basked in fatherhood, was a loving partner to Brandi and loyal friend to all who knew him. He will be deeply missed.

Brandi and Livia would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the many members of Jeffrey's oncology team at Banner MD Anderson, whose tenacious approach and consistent support provided a backbone of strength and hope during his cancer journey. Our sincerest thanks goes to Hospice of the Valley for providing Jeffrey with a beautiful, graceful transition and providing his family with the support to aid him in doing so. We will forever be grateful.
