Jimmie was married to the love of his life, Melanie, who he met in high school. They had two children Desirae Jacquez-Richie and Erin Leigh Jacquez.
After more than a 45-year career with State Farm Insurance. Jimmie retired to spend more time with his family and friends, especially with his granddaughter Olivia, whom he loved dearly. After retirement Jimmie had planned to travel which was one of his many passions.
Jimmie is survived by his wife Melanie, his daughter Desirae and her husband Chris, and their daughter Olivia, and Jimmie's father Erven. Plus, his only Aunt Joan and many close cousins that he loved. Even though Jimmie was an only child he was blessed to have inherited six sisters, one brother, and their families by marrying into Melanie's family. He was blessed with the family of Irene Medina and her four daughters and two sons. He couldn't have been any happier in his life to have so many people to love and visit with.
He is preceded in death by his mother Darlene and daughter Erin, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins that he loved spending time with.
