Joan Colahan passed away at home on June 17, 2014. Joan was born August 21, 1952 on a farm outside of Sylvan Grove, Kansas. She grew up in Lincoln, later moved to Salina and then Manhattan, Kansas, where she lived until 1998 when she moved to Arizona.
Joan attended Kansas State University and received her degree from Brown Mackie College. She worked in the Admissions office at Kansas State University and was most recently the Accounts Receivable Specialist at Drake Materials in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Joan is survived by her children, Patrick Colahan of Salina, Kansas and Hollie Colahan of Denver, Colorado, as well as her sister Liz Dowell and mother Margaret Totok, both of Pinetop, Arizona. Joan will also be missed by her extended family and friends, who knew her to be fun loving, hard working, and loyal.
