Jack and I, called each other by our first and middle names, it was our thing.  It began when we worked together at GEICO, and continued even into retirement.

Jack was one of a kind, and often times was the older brother I never had, but needed. He was 10 years my senior and I never let him forget that each time a birthday rolled around!  He would return the favor on my birthday by sending a raunchy card, as he knew I would blush and laugh.

He was masterful at walking into a room, and even if you hadn't met him, it would not be long and you were at ease and smiling.  I am so blessed and grateful that he was a part of my life, a priceless gift! 


I remember all the good times on the golf course.  I am sure you are hitting them long in heaven.


Just wanted to say I am praying for your family in Jack's home going.  While he was here at Geico he always greeted you with a smile and laughter to brighten your day.  He was the main reason we now have our fitness center in this office.  I pray that your loving memories sustain you during this sad time.  Heaven Father,  In the name of Jesus, I ask that you send the Holy spirit (the comforter) to be with Jack's family, in his home going.  We will miss him but in those moments of grief help them (us)  to remember "that earth has no sorrow that heaven can not heal."   Amen.

I remember Jack from years ago when I worked in HR at GEICO in Chevy Chase, MD. Jack was kind, funny, and just an all around great person.  I’m glad I had the privilege of knowing Jack.   He will be missed very much by so many people. 

Andi and the family and many friends of Jack, I'm so sorry to hear about his passing.
Jack was absolutely one of the finest persons I have ever known. As many here have noted, Jack's never absent smile brought joy to all of us no matter what kind of day we may have been experiencing. It is witnessed in the many moments captured in the Tribute Video, not only on Jack's face but my goodness, look at the faces of those around him!

And about Jack's running a tight ship, he kept that office humming! And made it look so easy, like it was a walk in the park. I swear I think he made it a point to stop by every employee's desk at least once a year to check personally on how things were going, "need anything?". 

And what a character on the golf course, football field, basketball court, etc. I got a kick out of goading him along, "Ok Dimples, show us what ya got!". I won't repeat here what his comeback was for me, but trust me, it was classic Jack. 

Jack, we'll all miss you so very much. As I can hear you saying now, "Ciao Baby".

Terri and I were saddened to hear of Jack's passing.  We send prayers to you and your family.  

One of the first people I met when I started at GEICO was Jack.  That was in 1962.  I know I don't have to tell you but Jack was one of the nicest and supportive people I've ever known.  He was also the person to call when anything needed to be done in the Chevy Chase, MD office building.  In the early days we spent a lot of time at the old Maggie's bar and restaurant on Wisconsin Ave laughing and singing songs of the 50's.   It was always fun and challenging competing with and against him in the GEICO softball and football leagues.  What a good spirited competitor. 

Anyone whoever knew Jack knows that they have lost a good man and a great friend.

Jack was one of those”one in a million guys”. Jack was always happy and making jokes, he tried to make others happy and laugh daily, he was more willing to help you than anyone we have ever met, he was an excellent dancer and he would be the life of any party he attended.  As was with his good heartedness, his energy and positivity just seemed endless.  

Having known Jack and Andi for so many years and sharing many enjoyable times with them certainly enriched our lives.    You lived a life many could only wish they had. We will miss you Jack very much.   RIP my friend.

Andi, Please accept my heartfelt  sympathy in the loss  of your husband, Jack.  He was such a fun loving man, always helping everyone at GEICO.  Never, ever, did I see him when he was not smiling and joking.  I know he will be missed greatly by you and your family.  Take care of yourself.

Heartfelt sadness for the loss of our dear friend, Jack.   Many fond memories we have of Jack are:  fun work days, credit committee meetings  & Round Table luncheons,  and many numerous parties & getaways with  Jack & Andi & friends.
