

Laurence R. Tice (Larry) was born on October 19th, 1956, and passed away on September 5, 2025.
Larry was born in Los Angeles, California. His parents, Jack Tice and Elizabeth (Hallaburton) Tice, had three boys; Larry was the youngest of the three.
After graduating from high school, Larry served in the army for four years before switching to the Navy and serving for an additional 17 years. He was a Navy diver and also proud of his EOD title, which he earned during his time in the Navy, from training dolphins to working with the Secret Service.
Even while serving the country, Larry studied Shaolin Kempo Karate and earned a black belt before retiring from the military. After retiring from the Navy, Larry studied and received his Master's degree from Ottawa University. During this time, he also worked hard to become a master in Shaolin Kempo Karate from APSK Karate.
In the wake of moving to Arizona in 1995, out of pride for his accomplishments, he became a member of the American Legion post 26, Mesa. He was proud to be a charter member, vice president, and even for a year the president of the American Legion Post 26 Riders. Larry's rider's name is “Bubbulz”. In regards to the riders and post 26, He would want to thank you for all the good times. You meant the world to him.
Larry married in 1989 to Kimberly (Hagan) and was happily married for 34 years before his passing. He had two outstanding children, Natasha Tice-Sweeney and Laurence Tice Jr. (Rick), three grandsons he cherished: Collin Tice, Aiden, and Hunter Sweeney. He had three brothers, Jay Tice, Mike Tice, Brad Steward, and a Sister, Betsy Armour. His favorite Aunt was Colleen Tice. He loved any that would love him back. He became a father to many that needed one and later a grandfather to their kids.
