Linda M Cleven

She was born on October 18, 1955, the oldest daughter of David Lee and Maria Anna (Keil) Allen in Nuremberg, Germany. The daughter of a career military father, she grew up in such places as Nuremberg, Ramstein AFB, North Dakota, California, and Colorado. She graduated from Buena High School in Sierra Vista, AZ in 1973. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Arizona in 1978. While working at Palo Verde High School in Tucson, AZ, she met Donald Cleven and the couple married in April 1979. After Donald retired in 2010, the couple moved to Phoenix, AZ to be closer to their daughter and her family. For the past 17 years, Linda has worked for Truly Nolen as the Assistant to the President. A shutterbug, she loved to take pictures (mostly of her granddaughter), enjoyed cross stitching, decorating her home, planting flowers, and, most of all, loved spending time with her family.

Linda is survived by her husband of 36 years, Donald; daughter Kimberly Socia (Matthew); granddaughter Alexis Socia; mother Maria Allen; sister Norma Livingston; brother David Hodges; sister-in-law Cathy Reece (Chris); nieces Jennifer Hartz (Douglas) and Chandra Hodges; and nephews David Reece (Katie), Kyle Allen (Jennifer), and Colin Scholl.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park and Funeral Care.
