

He was born on May 9, 1946 in Mathis, Texas and raised in Robstown. He would commute between Texas and Arizona until he moved to Arizona permanently, in his early 20's.
He was an avid sports fan and loved to watch his favorite Texas teams: The Cowboys, Spurs and Longhorns.
He loved Spanish music and was in a band where he performed as a singer during his earlier years.
He was a hard worker . He started out as a field worker and then worked at Coco's as a cook, for 20 years. He kept busy with yard sales and worked at Park & Swap in his spare time.
He loved to socialize and would enjoy sitting outside his house meeting people and making new friends. He even fed the stray cats from the neighborhood that wandered onto his patio.
He is preceded in death by his wife Rosa and daughter Rosemary. He is survived by four sons, Francisco, Manuel, Jr., Daniel and Andre and daughter Alicia Olivas; 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
A viewing will be held at 9:00 am, Friday, December 3rd, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 am, at Lakeshore Mortuary, 1815 South Dobson Road, Mesa, Arizona 85202.
The burial will be at 1:00 pm, at Resthaven / Carr-Tenney Memorial Gardens, 4310 East Southern Avenue, Phoenix, Arizona 85042.
