Margaret Ellen Henson

Our sweet mother, Margaret (Maggie) Ellen Henson sadly passed away on 10/7/2023, at the age of 82. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother whom we will all miss dearly. Born in Ohio, she made her home with our dad in Superior, AZ for 40+ years before relocating to Apache Junction, AZ and retiring from the Superior Unified School District.

Mom loved people and volunteered at Banner Baywood Hospital for the last eight years. Everyone she met loved her, as she was the sweetest, kindest, most caring woman we know.

She is survived by her five children Wendi (Anthony) Childress, Tom (Roni) Henson, Kelly (David) Ridgeway, Nanette (John) Streng and Fletcher (Kathy) Stevens; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years Herb, her parents Tom and Mardell Fletcher and her two sisters Judy Gearhart and Barb Clark. At her request, no services will be held.
