Mark grew up with one brother in Bedford, Iowa. In his spare time, he enjoyed golfing, walking his dogs, and watching sports, especially football. Throughout his life, Mark worked for a radio station, was a business owner, and most recently was employed by Mediacom.
Mark is survived by his wife of 10 years, Roxi (Tharp) Powell; stepsons, Clint Stiles and Blake Stiles; father, Kenny Powell; mother, Betty Powell; brother, Steve Powell; and two step-grandsons, Sam Stiles and Wesley Stiles.
