Mary Catherine Harden

Mary Catherine Harden, age 99, passed away peacefully in her home on December 25, 2021 in Mesa, Arizona. Mary was born October 14, 1922 in Columbus, Ohio to parents Charles J. and Laura C. Plato. Mary enjoyed playing euchre card games and bingo at Dreamland Club. She loved to listen to the easy listening music radio station at every hour of the day. Mary enjoyed going to the casino and watching the Arizona Diamondbacks baseball team on TV. Mary loved her faith, family, and friends. She is a Longtime member of All Saints.

Mary survived by her daughter Jackie Starkey, her son Oren (Trudy) Harden, her grandchildren Kelley M. (Joe) Brunton, Kelly Greene, Tracy Tully, Brett Harden, Lyn Randall, Cindi Daugherty-Nicolas), Tami Daugherty-Melcher, three great-grandchildren Gabrielle Furlong, Jay Furlong, and Carson Brunton.

Mary is preceded in death by her husband Douglas Harden, Sister Frances L. (James), her daughter Patti Ashley, her brother Jack Plato, and her parents.

A Viewing will be held on Monday, January 10, 2022 from 5pm-8pm at Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park; 400 S. Power Rd. Mesa, AZ 85206. Memorial Mass will be Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at 10am at All Saints Catholic Church; 1534 N. Recker Rd. Mesa, AZ 85205. Interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery immediately following the Mass.
