

her family. Her unique spirit is finally at peace with her Dear Lord whom she always trusted during her
long and courageous battle with pain and illnesses. She devoted her entire life to being a good daughter,
sister, wife, loving mother, a wonderful caring grandmother, great grandmother and a friend to all she met.
Mary was born in Youngstown, Ohio, November 27, 1928 and lived most of her life there until she moved
to Arizona to be closer to her children. As a homemaker, she took care of her family and loved to cook,
bake and sew. She was a seamstress to many local residents. Everyone who met her was touched by
her kindness, sense of humor and caring ways. She had a way of touching lives, helping others and
leaving memories that no one ever forgets. The world will not be quite the same without her. She will
surely be missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband John Torba, her mother and father, Mary and Chester
Renshaw and her two brothers David and Chester Renshaw. Also a great grandchild, Rhane Hope Torba
who died only hours after her birth.
She is survived by her three children, Robert Torba and wife Fran, Diane Whipple and husband Rick, and
Rick Torba and wife Cathy. Seven grandchildren: Julie Jacobs and husband Brent, Robert Torba , Dana
Meulenaere and husband Joe, James Buzzacco and girlfriend Misty Neuhardt, John Torba and fiancé
Tyler Willis, Jason Torba and girlfriend Shasta Broyles, and Brian Torba and wife Ashley.
Great Grandchildren, Parker and Makenna Jacobs, Jordan and Preston Meulenaere, and Campbell and
Delaney Torba.

She loved everyone’s pets
She loved music, especially Robert Goulet
She loved to laugh
She loved good food (no margarine)
She loved to know the scoop about everyone’s life
She never saw an ocean or stayed in a five star hotel
Her life was devoted to always being there to help others

Mary’s favorite prayer:
Hail Mary, full of Grace. The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for our
sinners, now, and at the hour of our death. Amen.
