Michael Sean Rich

Michael Sean Rich passed away on May 14, 2013 in San Tan Valley, Arizona. Born in Los Angeles, California to Michael and Deborah (Gutierrez) Rich, Michael arrived on June 1, 1974. In his younger years, Michael had a fun time hanging at the mall with his brother Ryan. Michael was a smooth talker and a bit of a flirt, so when he met the love of his life, Cynthia at Dominos, he swept her off of her feet. Wooing Cynthia was something that he excelled at. The couple married in Mesa, Arizona on October 23, 1998, and have spent 14 years adoring each other. Having a take charge personality he knew how to get people to laugh. He was a jokester who was a kid at heart. Loyalty was important to Michael, once you were a friend that is how you remained. He enjoyed working with computers. Family was of the utmost importance to Michael. One of the greatest times he enjoyed was during a family trip to Disneyland in March of 2012. Michael was loved by all who knew him and will be deeply missed. He is survived by his loving wife, Cynthia June Rich, children Brendan Mauck, Haley Mauck, Nicholas Steffy, Amber Rich, Lily Rich, Juliette Rich, and Katelyn Rich, mother Deborah Pace, grandmother Marylou Major, brothers Ryan Rich, and A. Jesse Bonilla, and sisters Raquel Redman, Melissa Temple, Priscilla Bonilla, and Stephanie Rich. He is preceded in death by his father, Michael Eugene Rich and step-mother Rebecca Jean Rich. A visitation will be held on Sunday, May 19, 2013 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. at Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park & Funeral Care 6747 East Broadway Road Mesa, Arizona 85206 (480)830-4422. A funeral service honoring Michael will take place on Monday, May 20, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints 1521 East Bella Vista Road San Tan Valley, Arizona 85143.
