Nancy Blickensdorf

Nancy Burnette (Finn) Blickensdorf, passed away Tuesday morning, October 11, 2011 in Santa Rosa NM at age 77. Nancy was born at home on October 17, 1933 in Augusta NY to Harold and Elna Finn. Nancy moved to Arizona in 1978 where she met her husband, John William Blickensdorf in1979. They married in Las Vegas NV and joined their two families in February 1980. In 2005 Nancy and John moved to Lovells MI. Nancy loved learning new things and new adventures. Nancy enjoyed reading, knitting, working with puzzles, traveling, flying, watching hockey, and Nascar racing (where in New York she did little racing of her own racing her brother’s cars). Nancy is survived by her husband of 31 years, John W. Blickensdorf of Lewiston MI, her children, Jody & Don Schultz of Camas WA, Danny & Melody Schultz of Chandler AZ, Patricia & Ted Dixon of Ortonville MI, John Blickensdorf Jr. of Grand Blanc MI, Cindy & Steve Eddy of Mesa AZ, Robert & Stef Blickensdorf of Gilbert AZ, as well as 13 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Nancy was predeceased by her father and mother, Harold & Elna Finn of New York, and her brother, Bernard Finn of Colorado. Nancy was a wonderful wife, loving mother and friend and will be missed by all. Public visitation will be at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, October 15, 2011 at Mariposa Gardens Cemetery Chapel, 6747 E.
