Neil-it was wonderful to chat and catch up at our reunion in October.  You were a wonderful friend in high school...

Gone too soon but still accomplished so much. My best friend is gone but never forgotten.

I have know Neil since High school. He had the biggest heart and the most beautiful smile and when I was down I remember he would always find ways to make me laugh. you will be truly missed.

I've known Neil and his sister Aleta (my classmate) since we were kids and our Dad's were on the ASU music faculty. I'm so glad I saw Neil at a McClintock class reunion a few years ago. He was so nice and friendly.   Aleta, sorry I could not be at the memorial service. 
My mom was glad to see you and Val and she was the one who told me about Neil.

Neil you will be missed, but never forgotten!

Neil, you left this world too soon.  You will be missed dearly my friend.

I had the pleasure of sitting next to Neil at many movie screenings. In fact, I feel honored to say that he sat near me at his final screening. I will forever feel the overwhelming optimism and extraordinary enthusiasm that he emanated each and every moment of his life. Neil, you will be missed - but never forgotten.

Neil Cohen- One Last Time To Say Goodbye: I did not, expect not, or thought not the time done and gone in this Friday Macayo's Depot Catina dinner at a McClintock High School '82- 30 year reunion. We were only joking, poking, laughing, chatting, dreaming, scheming, and posing for this picture as being silly in the days gone by. Was it a mystery that ended this friendship? Or was it a surprise of an actor leaving the world's stage? "Neither!" I say. This was the love of brothers who enjoyed art, drama, and literature. This was time well spent eating together as friends for the last time. This is now a memory- cherished in the dark times, ahead. Only these words will bear me: "Neil: you are my friend. You are not forgotten." 

He envied me about my trips to London.  I?  I found later and admired his Florida and New York visits.  

Goodbye, Friend.

Neil, you were one of the first people I met when I moved to Phoenix and made me feel so welcomed. I absolutely loved your presence and your amazing stories. Thank you for being my friend. I miss you!

I am so glad that we had a chance to reconnect at our H.S. reunion.  Although we were not close in during our H.S. year, my memories of Neil was positive and pleasant. I had an awesome time learning about what you did after high school and found that you were just as nice. Thank you for making an uplifting imprint on my life. I am sure God has great plans for you.

My thoughts are with your family. You were truly a gentle soul.

Neil, you always showed kindess and compassion to everyone you met, including me.  You will always have a special place in my heart.  God bless you and your family in their sorrow.

Just as our class was reconnecting with you through FB and the reunion, your life was cut way too short.  I am so glad I got to see you and give you a big hug at the reunion and I am so sorry that the world lost you at such a young age.  Your light will shine in heaven, as it did here on earth.
