Paul Peter Ochocki

Paul was born June 10, 1942 in Hendricks, Minnesota to parents Leo and Lillian Ochocki. He attended the University of Minnesota until moving to Tempe in 1964 following his marriage to Carol and began working for her father’s foundry. He continued in the foundry business throughout his career and eventually retired from Arizona Castings, which he owned. Though his work can be found across the globe, some of his most notable pieces can be found in Las Vegas.

Paul was an avid hunter; often recounting tales around the fire and camping under the stars. After a successful hunt fellow foundry workers looked forward to lunch of barbequed javelina or other wild game. He was also known to enjoy the Keno machines at the casino and a good book. He loved gardening, his walks, and a glass of red wine.

Paul was a kind and easy-going spirit who will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Carol, his daughter Brandi, his parents Leo and Lillian, and his sister Anita (Dwight) Wiggins.

He is survived by his daughters Tonya (Dan) Hodgson, Susan (Charles) Bebow, and Melissa Ochocki; his seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; his brother Lou (Diane) Ochocki and his sister Marie (John) Houle.

Celebration of Life will be Sunday, August 27, 2023 at 6 pm at Lakeshore Mortuary 1815 South Dobson Road Mesa, Arizona 85202.

Funeral mass will be held Monday, August 28, 2023 at 10 am at Resurrection Catholic Church 3201 South Evergreen Road Tempe, Arizona 85282. He will be cremated and laid to rest per his wishes.
