Rabon "Ray" Daron Prater

Ray was a loving husband to Theresa for 37 years, father to Ronda Anne Green (Randy) and Rabon Daron Allen (Shannon), loving grandfather to 5 and great grandfather to 10, brother of Robin Prater (Sandy) and Gary Miller (Sharon). He is preceded in death by his parents.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, May 1 from 4-8pm at Melcher Mortuary Mission Chapel, 6625 E. Main St in Mesa. Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 2 at 10:45 am at Melcher Mortuary Mission Chapel; brunch will be served at 9:45 am Committal services will follow at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N Cave Creek Rd in Phoenix. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Ray’s name to the American Cancer Society or St. Mary’s Food Bank.
