Ralph "Butch" Stanley Nixon

Ralph was born in Keokuk, Iowa on July 13, 1940 to Ralph and Thelma Nixon. He graduated from Payson High School and married Shirley Ann Platt on December 19, 1959. He worked as a shipping clerk for the Lockheed Martin company. In his spare time Ralph had a passion for building model planes, cars and boats.

He is survived by his wife Shirley Ann Nixon, daughter Tammy (Travis) Jo Spencer, son Tad (Kimberly) Allen Nixon, and grandchildren Allen Vincent Spencer, John Alexander Spencer, Angela Cahill, Anthony Asaro, Alysse Vanchina, and Adrianna Asaro. Ralph also leaves behind several nieces and nephews and will be missed by many friends. Ralph was preceded in death by his sister, Jeri Sutton.

A celebration of Ralph's life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, January 4th at Lakeshore Mortuary. A reception will follow at 4:00 p.m. in Lakeshore's reception room.
