Richard was born in Chicago, IL on November 11, 1946. Richard graduated from St. Rita High School and received a Bachelor degree from Chicago State University. He then Married Margaret on May 12,1973 in Chicago, IL. Richard had a career in law enforcement for Chicago Police Department and in the U.S. Marshall Service. He was survived by his wife, Margaret, daughter, Erin (Sean), his brother-in-law Charles (Laurie)and his nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by; his parents, Richard and Alice, Sister-in-law , Mary Catherine (Charles), and brother- in-law Thomas Wilford.
