Robert "Bob" Allan Solomon

Bob passed from this life 5/02/14 in Tempe, AZ. He was born in Minot, ND 11/22/38. He received his under graduate degrees from the U of A in Tucson before earning his PhD in engineering at MIT in Cambridge, MA in 1968.

He immediately went to work in aerospace engineering at AirResearch and remained with the corporation as it evolved into Garrett, then Allied Signal to Honeywell, then retired after 30 years. To keep himself useful, he established RAS Rentals and continued working with it.

Dear to Bob’s heart were his wife Wanda, daughters Wendy Dumont and Elizabeth Bevan, sons David and Timothy Solomon, one grandson, six granddaughters, and brothers Ted and Terry Solomon. He was loved and will be missed by all.

A memorial service will be held at Lakeshore Mortuary, Saturday, May 10th at 2:00 pm, 1815 S. Dobson Rd., Mesa, AZ.
