After serving in the US Army during the Korean War, he enjoyed working in the travel industry eventually opening his own travel agency. Bob enjoyed traveling to many continents throughout the world, listening and playing music on his piano and organ and especially enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is preceded in death by his sisters Netta Sinclair, Ada Tesar and granddaughter Kendra Parton. He is survived by his loving daughters Wendy (Dave) Parton and Leslie (John) Boucher and his grandchildren Shane Parton, Tyler and John Ryan Boucher. He is also survived by his sister Molly Archdeacon and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 am, Friday, April 10, 2015 at the VA National Memorial Cemetery located at 23029 North Cave Creek Road, in Phoenix, AZ. A celebration of his life with lunch to follow will be held at the family’s residence.
