Ruby Rowe

September 14, 1952 to January 2, 2014.

Ruby passed into heaven peacefully at her home from a long time illness. Daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. WW Rowe Jr. (Cincinnati, Ohio), Ruby is survived by her three treasured daughters, Jessica Bliss Williams (Tucson, Arizona), Lorene Edith Gaskins (Prescott Valley, Arizona) and Elizabeth Rowe Leslie (Mesa, Arizona) and her three precious grandchildren, Madeleine Sophia Brown (Tucson, Arizona) , Noble Patrick Leslie and Eligh Charles Leslie (Mesa, Arizona) and her revered son-in-law, Patrick Wayne Leslie, as well as her three wonderful step-children, Taira Diaz Maldonado (Peoria, Illinois), Samantha Wade and Mark A.J. Wyman (Kingston, New York). Also surviving are her Step-Mother, Jess Campbell Rowe (Vero Beach, Florida), sister Sanderson R. Orr (Cincinnati, Ohio) and brothers Wallace Rowe (Ft. Pierce, Florida) and Basil Rowe (Cincinnati, Ohio), She is also survived by her cherished nieces and nephews, Mimi Manzler (Chicago, Illinois), Emily Caroline Fabrocini (Brooklyn, New York), Sebastian Sackson (Los Angeles, California) and J. Potter Orr III (Cincinnati, Ohio) and a beloved uncle and aunt, William Woodin and Eleanor Rowe (Sedona, Arizona)

Preceding her in death are her beloved sisters, Elizabeth Rowe and Penelope R. Rowe, and her precious husband, Charles Edward Gaskins.

Ruby attended Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington and Xavier Conservatory of Music in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was a beautiful musician, mother, chef, pet enthusiast and counselor, and served love to all those who sat at her table. Contributions can be made in her name wherever you see a need. She was an equal opportunity humanist whose time on earth will be treasured dearly by all who knew her.

Services will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at 11am at Melcher Mortuary Chapel of the Roses. 43 S. Stapley Drive Mesa, AZ 85204.
