Sandra Louise Kidd

Sandra L. Kidd of Glendale, AZ passed away on January 17, 2014 in Mesa, AZ at the age of 75. Sandra was born April 14, 1938 in Jamestown, NY to Robert E. and Elsie [Turner] Park. She graduated in 1956 from Eden High School in Jamestown, NY. Shortly after graduation, on July 27, 1956, Sandra married Roy Kidd, who preceded her in death on July 10, 2010. Sandra worked as a nurse for the Maricopa County Hospital for four years, and then worked as an Accounting Clerk in banking for 27 years. After retiring, she went to work for Staples for a short time until she took on the task of caring for her grandson, Ryan. She was a longtime member of the Southwest Church of Christ in Phoenix and for the past year, a member of the Sun Valley Church of Christ in Gilbert. She enjoyed embroidery and crafts, but nothing brought her more joy than her family. She is survived by her sons Grayson and Jeffrey (Dena); Jeffrey’s mother-in-law, Joyce Edwards, as well as her grandson Ryan. Services will be held at, 2:00 p.m. on February 1, 2014 at the Sun Valley Church of Christ, 1015 N Recker Rd., Gilbert, AZ 85234.
